What is your timetable?

Does your train run all the time?
No. We run 4 trips every Sunday.
 
Does your timetable apply throughout the year?
Yes. We run rain or shine unless adverse weather prevents us from running.
 
How long are your trips?
You need to allow 2 hours for the entire trip - 15 minutes to and from the depot and 1.5 hours for the trip.
 
Can I just turn up and have a ride?
No. You need to book in advance. Click here to goto our bookings page.
 
Are you the train run by WaterCare?
No. We are a separate organisation to WaterCare. WaterCare owns the Waitakere tramline and we have an agreement with them to run our train on it.
 
Do you run trips on Saturdays?
Trips are not available on Saturdays.
 
Are you looking for new members?
Yes! We would like to meet you. Our club day is the second Saturday of every month. For more info, goto the membership page, send us an email, or contact our booking department via the contact page.
 
What do you do on your club day?
Service the loco and carriages, mow the lawn at Picnic Flats, track maintenance etc.
 
What if I want to have a picnic at Picnic Flats?
This is not possible to arrange with normal bookings on Sundays. We recommend you have your picnic down by the filter station either before or after your train ride.
 
Do you have the specifcations for your train?
